Aaron Judge mania is sweeping the baseball world by storm as the larger than life outfielder is mashing baseballs out of stadiums at a torrid pace to begin the 2017 campaign. The slugger is currently an American League Triple Crown threat as he leads the majors with 21 round trippers and the American League with a .344 batting average and 47 runs batted in.

A far cry from the .179 average and 42 strikeouts he boasted in 27 games last season in his brief stint with the big club before being demoted. Judge has definitley dismissed any doubters with his play this season leading into the middle of June.

Full disclosure must be given as I author this post, I am the furthest thing from a Yankees fan having grown up north of the border and being a lifelong Blue Jays fan. However, as a baseball fan, you have to appreciate what Judge has accomplished thus far and the way he has carried himself doing it. The guy is an absolute beauty, always humble and giving accolades to his teammates before himself.

Baseball fans have been flocking to get their hands on his MLB jerseys all over the country as Judge mania has hit full steam. It won’t be long before #99 jerseys are atop the league sales rankings with the likes of 2017 leaders Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Clayton Kershaw.

Judge and his home run hitting compadre Gary Sanchez has already garnered comparisons to the slugging duo of Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire from years past. That comparison should have Yankee fans smiling from ear to ear for years to come.

As for now the Yankees lead the AL East and show no signs of slowing down as the Aaron Judge train gains full steam ahead toward owning the 2017 baseball season.

Court is in order in the Bronx and the Judge is waiting to deliver his verdict.
