Kansas City Royals infielder Alcides Escobar ran a country mile to make an amazing sliding catch on a ball sliced into foul territory. Escobar started the track meet behind second base, sprinting towards the third-base foul line before making the sliding web gem to record the out.

    Love that hustle but where was Moustakas on that play? Looking at both angles he’s no where to be found.

    • Kevin: I believe they had the shift on expecting the lefty hitter to pull the ball to the right side of the field.
