Washington NationalsBryce Harper takes exception to intentionally getting beaned after connecting for a home run in his previous at bat. There is no mistaking what Atlanta Braves hurler Julio Teheran intentions were going right after the Nationals superstar. Order was restored after a few choice words from Harper. I have a feeling Justin Upton may want to watch himself when Jordan Zimmerman takes the bump for the Nationals tomorrow in the rematch.

I don’t think “beaned” is the appropriate word to describe where BH was hit; beaned means you were hit on the “bean”, or head, if you will. BH was hit on the thigh, pretty close to the butt (butted?) But seriously, Julio said he was trying to back him off the plate, which would keep BH from getting extension and hitting another one out . Makes perfect sense to me. Maybe that was the reason BH was mad; he wanted Julio to throw another one he could hit out. But as far as payback, if Julio was try to hit him deliberately, it could have been payback for Freddie Freeman getting plunked earlier. That was typical in days gone by; if you hit one of my guys, I will return the favor.
