The Toronto Blue Jays all in approach to this off-season have Jays faithful chomping at the bit for the April 2nd home opener against the Cleveland Indians. The MLB.com released their Top 100 prospect rankings this week acknowledging only two Jays prospects worthy of the cut. However five former Jays prospects were named as members of their respective new teams.

The two current Jays to crack the Top 100 were right-handed pitchers Aaron Sanchez at 35 and soon to be 18-year-old phenom Roberto Osuna at 90.

The former Jays blue chippers deemed worthy were catcher Travis d’Arnaud at six, Noah Syndergaard at 29, Jake Marisnick at 70, Justin Nicolino at 72 and defensive specialist Adeiny Hechavarria at 82 to round out the newly departed.

The list has a slice of Canada splashed in it with Pirates stud pitcher Jameson Taillon getting the nod at 15 and the Mariners James Paxton at 61.
