The Atlanta Braves may be feeling the playoff heat as tensions boiled over in the Braves dugout between coach Terry Pendleton and third baseman Chris Johnson. Johnson made the final out with a head first slide into first base in a 5-4 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. There is speculation that Johnson threw his helmet striking first base coach Terry Pendleton setting the scene for the dugout melee.

Pendleton confronts Johnson physically in the dugout grabbing the much larger Johnson and shoving him. The third baseman took the high road and seemed to ignore the confrontation.

This was the play that ended the contest and sparked the incident.

Why is everyone still writing article on this incident? CJ addressed the media yesterday about it and its over and done with.

    • Maybe because the video was added to the site after the game on the 29th of September.
