Chicago White Sox outfielder Adam Eaton appeared to save a run Monday night when he made a leaping catch against the wall in the top of the first inning. However, the Tampa Bay Rays did in fact score when the speedy Desmond Jennings scored from second base.

With Jennings at second and a 1-0 lead already secure, Matt Joyce sent a ball to the gap in right-center. Eaton ran it down, but as he was falling to the ground, he was forced to flip the ball to Dayan Viciedo to quickly get the ball back to the infield. Jennings would score easily by the time the White Sox got the ball to home plate.

The last time a runner scored from second base on a sac fly was August 10, 2012 when Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels drove in two runs. The Rays have actually achieved the feat before on May 19, 2010 when Ben Zobrist scored from second on a Carlos Pena sac fly.
